CTO
Job Description
We are seeking a visionary and hands-on CTO candidate to lead the future development of our cloud-based POS platform. In this role, you will drive the product roadmap, manage cross-functional teams, and lay the technical foundation for future growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Lead the engineering team to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of features and system improvements.
- Act as a bridge between business and technology, ensuring alignment between market needs and technical execution.
- Evaluate and implement scalable and secure architectures to support future growth.
- Manage technical debt, ensure code quality, and adopt engineering best practices.
- Mentor engineers and cultivate a strong, collaborative engineering culture.
- Work closely with the CEO, sales, customer success, and design teams to align on business goals.

Experience
MUST-Have
- 8+ years Proven experience in software product development and technical leadership
- 5+ years of experience managing an organization with over 10 members.
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or CTO at a foregin capital company.
- PHP/Laravel, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript
- Solid experience with Mysql including performance tuning and optimization
- Experience with complicated system architecture which includes API linkage with external systems
- Experience with application performance monitoring and optimization
- Experience with automation testing, E2E testing
- Extensive knowledge of web security
NICE-To-Have
- Experience with ReactJS/typescript
- Experience with aws lambda
- Operational experience with error tracking tools such as Sentry
